Cabalito was one of the foremost up and coming hunter stallions until his sale to the jumper ring three years ago. Now back in the breeding shed, Cabalito is just now starting to have offspring old enough to compete in the rated divisions and over fences. They are successful on the line, over fences and are demonstrating his beautiful movement in the under saddle classes. Numerous progeny have sold in the 100K plus range.
Cabalito was selected by the state stud at Celle and completed his 11 month stallion performance test barefoot. He finished in the top half of his class, with scores of 8’s on his gaits and willingness to work. His breeding (by Cordoba/Adeline/Aderlass) is known for producing hunters and goes back to Absatz, found in many successful hunter pedigrees. Cabalito himself, has won numerous tri-colors at “AA” rated shows throughout Florida, Texas and Colorado, in the first years through the regular working hunters. He also was the third place finisher in the 25,000 GALA hunter classic before testing his scope in the jumper ring, where he competed up through the level 7’s.
Cabalito throws correct, balanced, athletic babies with natural changes and amateur friendly dispositions. They are easy and uncomplicated. He is a perfect choice for either TB or warmblood mares. |
